2004 projects in Robotics

The following projects using a Magellan mobile robot are available

·      Autonomous robot indoor navigation and mapping using laser range finder

·      Autonomous robot indoor navigation and mapping using sonar

·      Autonomous vision based robot indoor navigation and mapping

·      Remote control of mobile robot arm

·      Visual servoing  for grasping by mobile robot with arm

·      Lift travelling robot
In this project the Magellan robot will use vision located the control buttons and the arm to press a button to go to another floor.

 

The Magellan robot has a Pentium processor on board, wireless network connection, infrared, ultrasound and contact sensor rings all around, plus video camera and laser range finder.
